You can easily facilitate such an atmosphere by spreading a little sunshine with this end of year writing craftivity!
By the end of the school year, countless members of school personnel have positively impacted your students’ lives by working hard to make your school a better place. This writing craftivity project will provide your students with an opportunity to give back to the school community!
Students will learn how to write a proper thank you note by interpreting quotes on thankfulness and reading and evaluating a classic thank you note written by George Washington Carver. They will reflect on the meaning of gratitude and consider all of the people who have had a positive impact on their school year. After learning about the elements that make up a well written thank you note, they will follow instructions to create a wonderful 3D envelope/card.
