Students will learn how to write a proper thank you note by interpreting quotes on thankfulness and reading and evaluating a classic thank you note written by George Washington Carver. They will reflect on the meaning of gratitude and consider all of the people who have had a positive impact on their school year. After learning about the elements that make up a well written thank you note, they will follow instructions to create a wonderful 3D envelope/card.
