Description
From Back to School to End of Year, this breakout bundle includes interactive and immersive adventures. Each challenge addresses ELA standards in a fun and engaging way. Your students won’t even realize how much they are learning, which is the BEST way to learn, isn’t it?!
Individually, the total value of these best-selling resources will be over $82.90, so this resource results in HUGE savings!
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
The bundle includes an entire year’s worth of individual activities. There are 12, so you can use 1-2 per month. Each one is unique. There is no “formula” used, so kids will NEVER get bored. The month-by-month schedule is based on ELA skills and holidays, but you are not limited to using them according to the schedule. They are very flexible.
These activities can be used to introduce skills, as each ESCAPE includes one focus skill with student takeaway notes. They can also be used to review material, as team-building challenges, or even as rewards.
The ESCAPES are grouped by holidays and skills. Although we recommend this schedule, they can really be used in ANY order. With the exception of the Valentine’s Day resource, they can be used at any time. Even the Halloween one has only one mention of trick-or-treating; there is no actual mention of Halloween! We did this so that they are VERSATILE for you.
Each ESCAPE has a focus skill with a takeaway for kids to use in the future. They also serve as a review for many other skills.

WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS OF EACH ACTIVITY?
♦ Fun introductions that the kids will LOVE! (Several are optional video introductions.)
♦ At-a-glance instructions for EASY set-up and organization.
♦ An instructional reference page that students can use LONG after they have escaped! My kids use them for reference ALL YEAR LONG! 😉
♦ Reading activities that require close reading.
♦ FUN codes and puzzles that students have to solve.
♦ At-a-glance answers.
♦ Exit slips.
♦ Awards/brag tags to celebrate a successful escape!
WHAT DO I HAVE TO SUPPLY?
All that is needed is a printer, folder, scissors, and a glue stick. Unlike other breakout activities, you don’t have to go out and buy expensive locks and boxes, because we’ve included everything you need to print and go!
WHAT MAKES THESE EXTRA SPECIAL?
Each story-line is totally interactive and immersive. YOUR students are directly involved in the story and the outcome depends totally on them.
Escape challenges provide you with a perfect opportunity to observe your students problem solving and working as a team. All of our resources are also great to use for an observation!
HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE?
Completing each one will probably take about 45-60 minutes, depending on how quickly the class is able to complete the activities. Students will not have to leave the room. This is NOT a scavenger hunt.
Have fun and be sure to come back for more AMAZING challenges!
