Included are 50 engaging and controversial topics that your students will be eager to weigh in on. All of them are written on step-by-step 4-5 paragraph outline forms. You can introduce argumentative writing with the 4 paragraph model, and then have students “graduate” to the five paragraph model that includes a counterargument. Or you can go directly to the five paragraph version. Each of the topics can serve as a mini-research project. Differentiation is a cinch!

Two rubrics, final draft sheets, three outline options, and a blank topic sheet are also included.
